About Matthew Quinn

Matthew is the Principal Consultant at MDQ Enterprises, specialising in workplace investigations. His experience includes working with the Western Australia Police Force as a Detective at a number of specialist units, and conducting health, performance and conduct investigations for a national regulator.

Matthew has extensive experience in criminal and workplace-type investigations, including fraud, misappropriation, sexual misconduct, assault and bullying-type matters. He has presented findings and recommendations to state prosecuting authorities and national boards, and given evidence in court settings. Matthew employs a risk-based approach, using his investigative skills and expertise to resolve matters economically and to best practice.

Matthew is a personable professional who is able to connect with people from all different backgrounds and professions, and can help people share what is often difficult or sensitive information. Coupled with his expert ability to interpret digital evidence — including CCTV, access logs and electronic communication — Matthew is able to provide an impartial, objective point of view in workplace matters.
